Nantasket Beach Swim Homepage

For the first time ever....YES, we broke the $100,000 mark at Nantasket!!!

A special thanks to all the teams that joined us this year, especially the teams that make up NESCAC - Amherst, Hamilton, Middlebury, Trinity, Tufts, Williams. NESCAC teams raised over $54,000, with an outstanding effort from first time participant Lindsay Gardel from Tufts who raised over $11,000. Swimmers from the NESCAC conference also participated in other SAA events around the country bringing the total raised by NESCAC to over $60,000. Many thanks for all their fundraising efforts!!

Team Lynchie, was our overall top fundraising team this year raising over $15,000. Congratulations and thanks to team Captain Coleen Lynch.

Also joining us for the first time was the Adirondack Aquatics Club who had an impressive showing with over 30 swimmers. Thank you to all our teams, individual swimmers, volunteers and sponsors for your making this year's swim the most successful ever!

We hold two seperate fundraising swims to accommodate all of our swimmers. Whether you are a recreational swimmer or a die-hard competitive swimmer/ triathlete we have an event for you!

7:30AM -Registration Opens

9:00 AM - 1 mile Competitive swim starts

9:15 AM - 1/2 mile recreational swim starts

Minimum age requirement: 12

required minimum fundrasing commitment: $150

Teams

Teams have been formed to swim in honor or in memory of an individual. We also have Corporate teams, College teams, High School teams and triathlete teams. Last year swim teams from New England Small College Athletic Conference battled it out for the top fundraising team.  Can you beat them? Are you up for the challenge? Join the fun! Water Conditions

Wetsuits are recommended. Average water temperature is 65* in July. Both events take place rain or shine.
